about

Primarily an outlet for his own productions and collaborations with friends, family and favourite artists, STATIONS came about from Dismantle’s straightforward impulse to get more music off the computer. No messing about with genre-constraints, BPM ranges or industry-cycles, the label will drop consistent, high-quality transmissions drawing from all corners of UK bass music. Dismantle has been embedded in UK club culture for more than a decade: DJing with Bristol pioneer DJ Die and releasing with Gutterfunk from 2014 onwards, collaborating with legendary MCs D Double, Inja and Emz as part of Watch The Ride in 2019, and hitting a soulful, broken-beat stride in 2020 under his alias Nuff Pedals with an eponymous debut album. STATIONS brings this wealth of experience into full focus, with Dismantle heading up the label’s operations. STATIONS also marks a subtle nod to Dismantle’s early days, looking back to the hybrid underground sounds that first launched his career – whether that’s bashy UK funky, bass-heavy garage, or up- tempo rollers. Expect upfront, direct and uncompromising club tracks, delivered on steady rotation.

The debut release on STATIONS – STN001 – stands as the label’s mission statement. Three high- quality cuts fresh from Dismantle’s hard drive, bringing together garage, early dubstep, and UK funky influences to definitively prove that good club music never gets old. The tracks follow-on from his 2021 collab with Van Basten on Ahadadream & Sam Interface’s More Time – ‘Smack The Door’ – melding syncopated rhythms with deadly bassweight. On STN001, Dismantle leans further into his love for UK bass music’s darkside underground, stripping everything back to let the tough percussion, sub pressure, and atmospheric details speak for themselves.
